These Terms of Service govern your use of Querent, operated by AA & X Family Brands ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Querent, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Querent is an AI-powered knowledge base platform that allows users to upload documents and query them using artificial intelligence. The Service is currently in early access.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Querent. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at ADL218@me.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You retain full ownership of all documents and content you upload to Querent. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it to train AI models.
Querent uses Anthropic's Claude API to process your queries and extract information from your documents. When you submit a question, relevant portions of your document content are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. By using Querent, you acknowledge and consent to this processing. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of data. We encourage you to review it at anthropic.com/privacy.
Your documents and associated data are retained until you explicitly delete them. You may delete individual documents at any time through the Querent interface. Upon account deletion, all your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days.
You agree not to: upload content you do not have the right to share; use the Service for any illegal purpose; attempt to circumvent security measures; upload malicious files or content; share your account credentials with others; or use the Service to process documents containing third-party personal data without appropriate consent.
We provide Querent on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AA & X Family Brands shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Querent, including loss of data, unauthorized access to your documents, or service interruptions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Georgia.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
