Questions about the plan

How does the free trial work?
Before the trial, every new account gets a free preview with no card: 5 uploads and 15 questions, enough to see it work on your own documents. The trial is every feature, free for 7 days: you add a payment method to start it, we send a reminder before it ends, and if you cancel before then you are not charged. If you keep going, it is $10 for the first month and $10 a month after that.
Is there a free plan?
No. Querent is one paid plan with a 7-day free trial. What every new account does get is a small preview before the trial, 5 uploads and 15 questions with no card, so you can see it work on your own documents first. It does not refill. A flat price with no free tier is how we keep the service fast, ad-free, and uninterested in your data.
What happens if I hit a daily limit?
Querent tells you, with the time the limit frees up, and nothing is lost: a blocked upload can be retried, and a blocked question can be asked again after the reset. Limits reset once a day, early in the morning US time, and your profile page shows exactly where you stand. If you regularly need more, email support@querentapp.com and we will talk.
Can I cancel?
Anytime, from the profile page. You keep access through the end of the period you already paid for, and your account is only deleted if you do not resubscribe afterward. Payments are not refunded and partial months are not prorated; canceling keeps your paid time rather than cutting it short. If something goes wrong with a charge itself, email support@querentapp.com and we will make it right.
Is the price going to change?
We expect to add plans over time (higher limits, shared libraries) rather than change this one. If the price of this plan ever changes, it will be announced on this page well ahead of time, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Do you offer discounts for teachers or students?
Not yet. If that would make the difference for you, email support@querentapp.com and say so; it is how we decide what to build next.
